June is a very busy time at Long Island School of the Arts!
Universal Prek Graduation, June 24, 2010
After a fun-filled year of singing, learning, growing and making new friends, our preschoolers were ready to move on to kindergarten. As much as we will miss them, we are so excited for them as they move on.
Who's ready to graduate? WE ARE!!! Miss Nyree leads the Bell Choir in 'My Country 'tis of Thee'
Private Lesson Recital, June 1, 2010
Our private lesson students work hard all year long to master their instruments. In June, they invite their families and friends to enjoy the fruits of their labor a a recital at the community library. Everyone was impressed with our talented kids, and so proud of them!
Many of our students participated in NYSSMA this year, earning 'outstanding' marks.
Our 2010 Students and their teachers on stage for one more round of applause!
Each student received a rose and a certificate. String teacher Greg Williams and his star student, Katerina.
Miss Joann and one of her young students. Asa performed voice and piano! What a talent!
